Are you interested in making a donation to the Walled Lake Cobras Women’s Water Polo team?

The Women’s Cobras Water Polo Boosters aim to enhance the athletes’ experience by providing resources for development and celebrating their achievements. Our goal is to nurture teamwork, sportsmanship, and love for the game while building lasting connections among players, families, and the community. However, to give our athletes the best opportunities to succeed, we need your help.

We are seeking the generous support of individuals and businesses in our community to help fund essential team expenses. As a self-funded, parent run, 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, we pay for our own coaches, travel, and purchase our own equipment. Your contribution will help ensure that our athletes have the resources they need to thrive, and will directly support critical needs such as:

• Upgraded equipment: After 18 years, we just purchased new shot clocks, a new floating goal, upgraded (and required by new rules) field of play lines, and new game balls, totaling $7,900. We’re also currently looking into cost effective alternatives to a new timing system and display. These purchases dipped heavily into our reserves, but were necessary.
• Tournament fees and travel expenses.
• Coaching support: As our program grows (from 10 girls 4 years ago to currently 24 girls!), we have needed to hire assistant coaches.
• Program accessibility/scholarship funding: Ensuring all athletes can participate, regardless of financial need.

We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, and all donations are tax deductible. Don’t forget to check if your employer offers a matching gift program!

We also offer sponsorship opportunities, which provide additional visibility for businesses in our community. We host 5 home games (80-100 attendees per game) and 2 successful tournaments (150-250+ attendees per tournament). Please see the Sponsorship page for more information.
